Dr. Priehs was awarded a year long internship in small animal medicine
and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital, a large specialty hospital
in the New York City area. After completing his internship, Dr.
Priehs remained on their clinical faculty where he studied with
the ophthalmologist at the Animal Medical Center, in New York City
for two years. In 1989, Dr. Priehs completed his residency training
in Comparative Ophthalmology and remined on faculty as an instructor
through 1990. Dr. Priehs has been in a private referral ophthalmology
practice since that time. Dr. Priehs currently has an adjunct faculty
appointment at the University of Florida. His special interest includes
intraocular surgery. Dr. Priehs is a Diplomate, American College
of Veterinary Ophthalologists.
