present as itching, scratching, licking, or chewing), skin diseases
caused by parasites (fleas, ticks, or mange mites), and bacterial
or fungal infections of the skin and ears. Hair loss, some skin cancers,
and abnormalities of the foot pads and nails are also treated by dermatologists.
